The Long Road Festival Launch Hometown Sounds

Due to Coronavirus lockdown restrictions festival season, this year was officially canceled in order to help slow the spread of the disease but that hasn’t stopped event organizers coming up with innovative ways to bring a little live music to fans across the world and The Long Road Festival are the latest to announce a virtual event.

The dedicated country and Americana roots music festival have formally announced that they will be debuting a new live-stream showcase titled ‘Hometown Sounds’ which will showcase exclusive performances from some of the UK’s brightest talents across Facebook, and YouTube on September 12th.

The exciting virtual show will feature performances from the likes of The Adelaides, Ward Thomas, Ferris and Sylvester, and also include an exclusive chat with US sensation Brandy Clark as she joins the line-up as a special guest for what promises to be a truly magical evening of outstanding live country music.

Launching the showcase across social media, The Long Road Festival said: “We can’t wait to debut Hometown Sounds, a UK Country music show featuring performances from your favourite homegrown acts: Ward Thomas, Ferris and Sylvester, and The Adelaides. Plus a chat and more from special guest Brandy Clark! Streaming on Facebook and Youtube on Saturday, September 12th at 8 pm, save the date!”

The Hometown Sounds “gig” promises to be one of the most impressive live-streamed events of the year with an incredible array of British talent on show bringing us outstanding live and exclusive performances that will deliver a much-needed dose of live music to thousands of country music fans across the globe.
