The Rising Announce New Single ‘Bruise You Left’

Since February 2020, country-rock duo The Rising have been releasing a new single every six weeks and later this year they will share their hotly anticipated new EP titled ‘No Hope Without Love’ which will be available to stream and download across all leading digital platforms.

And as the build-up to that record continues, the country crossover pair have formally announced details of their latest track which comes in the form of the impressive ‘Bruise You Left’ which will be releasing across all digital outlets from Friday, June 4th, and promises to be another hit.

With such a solid year and a half of productivity, The Rising have seen their star rise at a rapid rate and have been garnering lots of industry support with their songs being supported by the likes of BBC Introducing (Band Of The Month)BBC Radio 2BBC Radio LondonGuitarist MagazineMaverick Magazine, and Hot Press Magazine to name a few.

Speaking about the song’s lyrical story, The Rising say: “The premise behind the song is the hurt caused by a long-term relationship coming to an end. Despite promising never to hurt each other, in the end, they do. Those wounds take a while to heal, some never do. So, whilst they may be in a better place apart the wounds/bruises of the relationship will stay with them forever”.

It’s an excellent starting point to build the track from and it showcases that the duo are able to craft country hits that instantly connect with a global listenership thanks to the universal themes of their story arcs and the impressiveness of their eclectic cross-genre soundscape.
