Lady A Announce ‘What A Song Can Do’ 2021 Tour
After being forced into taking more than a year off from touring the globe, country music trio Lady A consisting of Charles Kelley, Hillary Scott, and Dave Haywood will make their long-awaited return to the live circuit this coming summer for a huge string of American dates.
Their tour dates last year were postponed due to Coronavirus (COVID-19) lockdown restrictions across the world and their subsequent rescheduled dates were also shelved as the virus held strong in the States and beyond, but with a swift vaccination program events are now beginning to return in full capacity in the US and acts are now making plans to get back on the stage.
The excitement that they can get back to seeing their fans up close again is hugely prominent for Lady A and their forthcoming run of dates is set to be a huge celebration that will see them embarking on a massive 34-city tour across the United States – it is yet unknown as to whether restrictions will lift enough for them to add European dates.
Joining the Grammy award-winning three-piece will be a trio of multi-talented country performers with Carly Pearce, Kiko Moon, and Tenille Townes opening up for the group at select dates making for a truly incredible night of superb live country crossover music that has been very much missed.
Speaking about the upcoming tour, Charles Kelley says: “This tour is really going to be about letting our fans know how much they mean to us and what music has done for all of us over the last year…which is the essence of the tour name. We started writing a song called ‘What A Song Can Do’ and it turned into a love letter to our fans. We are gonna soak up these moments on stage more than we ever have before. It’s gonna be hard to wipe the smiles off our faces and I’m sure the tears off Hillary’s. We were lucky enough to still release new music this past year but there are songs like ‘Champagne Night’ and ‘What If I Never Get Over You’ that we haven’t been able to play live much so we know those will make for some really special moments.”
