The Shires Announce 2021 Acoustic UK Tour

Following multiple postponements to their scheduled 2020 tour dates due to Coronavirus (COVID – 19) lockdown restrictions, British country-pop duo The Shires are now due to take their incredible album ‘Good Years’ on the road next year giving them the chance to perform the record live for the first time in its entirety.

But with current lockdown rules set to be completely scrapped in England on July 19th with a return to total pre-COVID normality in terms of events, and everyday life, the award-winning pair have confirmed that they will be playing live across the UK this coming October and November in readiness for the fully-produced gigs in 2022.

The forthcoming run of Autumn dates from The Shires will see them performing acoustically at small, intimate music venues across multiple British cities giving them the chance to get back on stage and play in front of fans for the first time since the first shutdown back in March 2020

Speaking about the tour across social media, Ben Earle and Crissie Rhodes, stated: “We couldn’t wait to play live again. So excited to announce this intimate, acoustic run of shows in October/November. Going to be revisiting some of the smaller venues you may have seen at in the early days”.

The acoustic tour is set to be a wonderful up-close and personal experience for those lucky enough to get tickets for the shows. The Shires are famous for their electric live performances so it will be a nice change of pace to see them strip it all back and just let the lyrical stories and their vocal harmonies take centre stage.
