Twinnie Announces New Single ‘Better When I’m Drunk’ – Acoustic

British country-pop powerhouse Twinnie has announced that she will be sharing the acoustic version of her smash-hit single ‘Better When I’m Drunk’ later this week. The stripped-back offering will no doubt breathe new life into the pop-infused anthem that has become one of the York singer’s staple tracks.

Originally released back in March of last year ‘Better When I’m Drunk’ was a huge part of the promotional trail for Twinnie’s debut breakout LP ‘Hollywood Gypsy’ which dropped this April via BMG with the record quickly becoming one of the major success stories of the year despite having a limited release due to the Coronavirus (COVID-19) global pandemic.

Speaking at the time of the single’s original release, Twinnie stated: “I grew up in the north of England where typically people tell it how it is. I was always inspired by that honesty and I guess that shaped me as a songwriter. Living in a world of social media where everything and everyone is perceived to be perfect, I wanted to write songs that were honest and authentic to me”.

With the forthcoming stripped back acoustic rendition, the tongue-in-cheek song will be taken back to its country roots allowing for the English performer to truly shine a light on her breathtaking vocal control whilst showcasing her standout lyrical delivery. The Brit singer/songwriter has become one of the UK’s finest country crossover talents since bursting onto the scene several years ago and with her newest release dropping this weekend she is sure to see her stock rise even further.
