Tyler Rich Announces Debut Album ‘Two Thousand Miles’
Having already built up a strong career foundation whilst retaining a long-distance relationship across two separate coasts, singer/songwriter Tyler Rich has embraced the challenge this year of quarantine bubbles and performing for fans via virtual live-streams despite his own headline tour being canceled due to restrictions.
The hurdles he has been forced to overcome throughout the past six months have only acted to strengthen his bond with his growing fanbase and during isolation, he locked himself away in his little home studio to finish off his forthcoming and eagerly awaited debut album ‘Two Thousand Miles’ which drops Friday, September 4th.
The LP title is in reference to the distance he regularly travels between Los Angeles and Nashville in order to chase his dream and spend quality time with his one true love Sabina. All of the experiences the couple have been through mean even more now as they face a global pandemic together, albeit thousands of miles apart.
Speaking about the upcoming record, Tyler says: “Finishing my debut album during quarantine was the ultimate payoff for so much time off. I’ve waited years for this complete work of art to come out, and to say I’m ecstatic would be an understatement. I’ve been able to grow so much over these months we’ve had off, and more importantly, my relationship with my fans has grown exponentially. All these live from home shows, and interactive experiences have helped me get to know my incredible fans so much more than a meet and greet. I’m so excited for the world to hear these songs, in this order, and so excited to hit the road again, and will be forever grateful for the opportunity over the last few months to build those lasting relationships, and complete Two Thousand Miles.”
The 11-track album has been produced by Lindsay Rimes and promises to be one of the most impressive bodies of work to be shared by a country music artist this year while the time spent putting the finishing touches on the record means the LP is much more heartfelt and sincere than it ever would have been had Tyler been mastering the record during a tour.
