British country music singer/songwriter Vic Allen has been steadily building up a solid fanbase within the UK scene with several breakout releases and this year she is set to further push toward mainstream success, that chapter begins on Friday, March 25th with new single ‘Pictures Of Us’
The forthcoming offering from the skilled lyricist tells the tale of a real-life breakup that she experienced back in the summer of 2021 and offers listeners a glimpse into her world around that time when heartbreak and loss were at the centre of her world during a time of turbulence and unsteadiness.
It’s a poignant and heartfelt take on love and loss and allows for Vic Allen to deliver a standout country ballad that is laced with classic vibes that bring together all of the ingredients needed for a smash-hit that will instantly connect with a global and varied demographic of music fans.
Speaking about the track, Vic Allen says: “To make moving on easier I wanted to erase anything that could remind me of him, so I went through my phone and deleted everything – our messages, his number the pictures he’d sent me… thankfully I realised that we’d never actually taken any pictures of the two of us together so it made it that little bit easier to pretend we had never happened. That’s what the song is about”.
