Ward Thomas Announce New Album ‘Invitation’
During the enforced government lockdown in the UK, British country-pop duo Ward Thomas have spent much of their quarantine time at their Hampshire home working on new music and fans will be treated to a brand new album this October. The record titled ‘Invitation’ will be shared via their independent label WTW Music following heir departure from Sony Music.
The forthcoming project features 14 outstanding new songs including their stellar James Blunt collaboration ‘Halfway’ and their stunning rendition of Fleetwood Mac’s ‘Landslide’, with the CD being spearheaded by their newest single ‘Sweet Time’ which sees them dabbling in synth-pop sounds.
The album follows on from their 2019 top-ten all genre hit ‘Restless Minds’ and promises to be another collection of truly breathtaking tracks that shine a light on their divine sibling vocal harmonies, and ever-impressive inspirational and honest lyrical ability.
The full-length LP drops on October 4th, and will once again cement Ward Thomas’ status as the leading act within the ever-growing British country crossover scene as they once again deliver a truly outstanding collection of tracks that come together in one mesmerising body of work.
The full ‘Invitation’ tracklist is as follows:
Dear Me’, ‘Landslide’, ‘Someday’, ‘Sweet Time’, ‘Hold Space’, ‘If There Were Words’, ‘Painted Legacy’, ‘My Favourite Poison’, ‘Wait Up’, ‘Meant To Be Me’, ‘Human’ (Live at SSE Arena, Wembley), ‘Open Your Mind’, ‘Don’t Be A Stranger’, and ‘Halfway’ (James Blunt Feat Ward Thomas’)
