Ward Thomas Announce New Single ‘Sweet Time’
Fresh from dropping their stunning EP ‘The Space Between’ earlier this summer, British country music duo Ward Thomas return this Friday with a brand new single titled ‘Sweet Time’ which will act as the launchpad for their upcoming fourth studio album which is slated for release later this year.
The EP acted as a bridge gap between the release of ‘Restless Minds’ which dropped back in February of 2019 and the forthcoming studio LP which will be released independently by the Hampshire twins following their departure from Sony Music with who they shared two albums with.
And now the sisters have formally announced the exciting details of the first single to be shared off the new LP campaign. The track is titled ‘Sweet Time’ and the duo have been teasing fans via social media during the past few days before revealing the title on July 29th via their Instagram stories.
The single which features a funky sonic background will also be accompanied by an official music video that Ward Thomas filmed earlier this month with social distancing measures in place to ensure the safety of everyone on set. The clip is set to premiere alongside the track and will kick-start an exciting new era for the country-pop pair.
‘Sweet Time’ will premiere exclusively on Bob Harris’ BBC Radio 2 show on Thursday, July 30th. Bob is a long time supporter of Ward Thomas and their music and has championed them from their 2014 debut album ‘From Where We Stand’ and his support has played a pivotal role in their huge UK and global success.
The new Ward Thomas single ‘Sweet Time’ is available to pre-save right now ahead of its official Friday, July 31st release.
