Following the success of previous country music releases, on-the-rise singer/songwriter Laura Beckwith is taking steady steps into the mainstream pop market with her latest release ‘Hit and Run’, slated for release across all digital download and streaming platforms from Friday, April 21.

The upcoming offering from the London-based artists comes on the back of some impressive success including national radio play, a No.13 single on the iTunes Country charts, consistent support from BBC Introducing and has racked up over 650k views on Instagram and
Tiktok.

Now, she is ready to depart a little from the country music scene. ‘Hit and Run’ is the first single to be released from a batch of new music that Laura has created with Matt Wills with songs set to be released steadily throughout 2023 as the rising pop crossover performer begins to branch out into the mainstream music world and create an exciting hybrid sound. 

 

It is a standout upbeat pop creation that has sombre country-style undertones with the vibe of the track being “dance away your tears”. This is an excellent first taste of what’s to come from this new musical era that Laura Beckwith is creating and it gives listeners a brilliant insight into her soundscape moving forward.
