Jimmie Allen Announces New Collaboration EP ‘Bettie James’

Platinum-selling country music sensation Jimmie Allen is back with his brand new EP ‘Bettie James’. The forthcoming record which drops on Friday, July 10th is a huge passion project for Allen and sees him teaming up with fellow country icons on tracks in order to create a truly outstanding collaboration record.

Released via Stoney Creek/BBR Music Group the eagerly anticipated seven-track EP includes brand new songs created with a variety of talent and showcases Jimmie’s vast musical sensibilities. The upcoming project’s tracklist will be revealed next week and promises to feature huge hits. The ‘Bettie James’ record also includes Allen’s current global hit single ‘This Is Us’ which features Noah Cyrus. That song is his fastest-consuming single, garnering more than 25 million streams to date.

The EP is inspired by and named after Jimmie Allen’s much loved, late father, James Allen, and beloved grandmother, Bettie Snead, who sadly passed away in September 2019 and February 2014, respectively. Speaking about their influences and inspiration, Jimmy says: “My dad and grandmom were two completely different people, but both played a huge part in my life. Since they died, I have been wanting to leave trails of their legacies throughout my music,”

‘Bettie James’ which has been co-produced by Jimmie alongside Ash Bowers is like, in Jimmie’s words: a “two-sided coin” – united in both its love for music, but different and unexpected in the incredible collaborators and the tracks themselves. The result is a phenomenal musical composition of love, heartbreak, perseverance, hope, and faith.

Talking about the artists he has teamed up with on the EP, Jimmie states:” I am a fan of every artist on this project and humbled to have each one of them be a part of it. Each artist has touched the life of my dad, my grandmother, and me through their music. I’m proud of this body of music and thankful to every writer that helped me create Bettie James.”

Featured artists on the star-studded release include the aforementioned Noah Cyrus, Tim McGraw, Mickey Guyton, Charley Pride, The Oak Ridge Boys, Rita Wilson, Brad Paisley, Darius Rucker, and Tauren Wells.
