Jack and Tim Share ‘Stand’ Music Video

This past Friday, fast-rising country crossover duo Jack and Tim consisting of father and son released their emotive new single ‘Stand’ which has been inspired by the worldwide Black Lives Matter movement and global protests and marches which has seen and continues to see people from all backgrounds joining together to create an equal world for all.

The tracks lyrical focus is all about standing up and taking responsibility for what we see around us and using our voices for the greater good in order to eradicate all forms of racism from society. It’s a powerful offering and a hugely significant message from the pair who are never afraid to be vocal when speaking on issues they feel strongly about.

And now the BGT Golden Buzzer act who rose to fame during the TV talent contest back in 2018 where Simon Cowell fast-tracked them straight through to the live semi-finals following their incredible audition, have shared the official music video for ‘Stand’.

The clip sees Jack and Tim performing the heartfelt song together in front of a sun-dappled window and also includes powerful images from various Black Lives Matter protests which allows the lyrics to have a greater impact. It’s a stunning offering that truly brings the songs lyrical message to life.

Speaking about their decision to share ‘Stand’, Jack and Tim say: “As artists, we feel if you have a voice it’s incredibly important to use it. Too many artists have stayed silent. Imagine a world without [John] Lennon’s ‘Imagine’, [Bob] Dylan’s ‘Times They Are A Changing or Sam Cooke;s ‘A Change Gonna Come’? ‘Stand’ is how we feel and we are incredibly proud of it”.
