Sarah Darling Premieres Two New Songs During Facebook Live
Every Sunday evening at 6 pm CT (midnight, BST) American country music sweetheart Sarah Darling takes to Facebook Live for a special Campfire Sessions concert where she performs a selection of original hits, unreleased tracks, and stunning covers as she continues to bring a little light to the current quarantine situation.
The online series began a few months ago when the global Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic began to shut down the world and put a stop to any live gigs. So in a bid to continue bringing music to her worldwide fanbase, Darling took to social media for special live-stream shows which bring her beautiful voices safely to people’s homes.
The series has been a huge hit with listeners tuning in from all corners of the globe in order to relax and switch off from the current times and embrace Sarah Darling’s angel-like vocal delivery. The Iowa native always looks to transport and everybody needs an escape right now more than ever.
And last night (July 19th) live from her Nashville home, the adopted Brit premiered two stunning, inspirational new songs giving her avid fanbase a glimpse of her forthcoming album which she is currently working on and will be heading to the studio shortly to officially begin recording.
The LP which follows on from her UK Country Album Chart number 1 ‘Wonderland’ is set to be her best, most introspective release yet if the tracks she performed last night are anything to go by. Sarah is an artist who always looks to inspire throughout her songs and ‘You Go Dark’, and ‘Make It Beautiful’ which premiered last night do just that.
‘You Go Dark’ is an uplifting ballad all about having that light giver in your life who always looks to lift you up and shelter you from storms especially in times of need. It’s a gorgeous offering and one that offers some comfort in these difficult times and acts as a reminder that we always have somebody fighting our corner.
Whilst ‘Make It Beautiful’ is a stunning stripped-back track that has been inspired by the lockdown and how we often feel like we are not doing enough “special” things in our lives right now due to spending much more time at home. The lyrics look to inspire and remind the listener that every single day has something beautiful to celebrate.
There are very few artists in the world who are able to transport and inspire through lyrics quite like Sarah Darling who seems to do it effortlessly. She always manages to offer hope and light throughout her songwriting and these two new tracks are a symbol of everything that makes her one of this generation’s most talented singer/songwriters.
