Lindsay Ell Releases New Single ‘Ready To Love’

Canadian country music powerhouse Lindsay Ell continues on the promo trail for forthcoming new album ‘Heart Theory’ which drops on August 14th with the release of her brand new single ‘Ready To Love’. The track acts as the closer and the second song in the acceptance stage of the record.

The song is an uplifting offering and changes the pace of the LP which sees Ell detailing the seven stages of grief and details her personal experiences of dealing with sexual abuse trauma as she looks to use her platform to support and help other victims and survivors.

The single also follows on from the latest offering ‘Make You’ which has been shared in conjunction with the Make You Movement which is a charitable organization set up by Lindsay that will support at-risk youth, domestic abuse, and sexual assault survivors by providing funds on an as-needed basis.

Speaking about her newest release ‘Ready To Love’, Lindsay Ell says: “When I wrote this song, I knew it was the one we had to end the record with. It’s truly a song of acceptance and a vow to myself to look forward. I was in a healthy place where I had reconciled my past and understood that it did not define me, and this song is me greeting the world with open arms ready for that next chapter in life. Knowing now that I am living my story, and I want to continue to empower people to tell their stories. Writing this record and starting the Make You Movement have been such pivotal moments to me in living out my story and believing in the healing power of music.”

The upcoming project from Ell promises to be her most thoughtful, and honest record to date as she opens up about her private struggles like never before and uses her songs as a tool to heal herself and others. A truly outstanding artist the Canadian native is sure to gain a whole new legion of fans through her latest releases.
