Tanya Tucker Announces Charity LP ‘Live From The Troubadour’

As the Coronavirus pandemic continues to take its toll on the music industry live venues, in particular, are getting hit hard as they struggle to keep afloat amongst social distancing rulings which make it almost impossible for most spaces to put on a concert meaning they are losing cash and are in desperate need of support to ensure they are able to open their doors again in the future.

And the threat of venue closures is a worldwide problem with many UK spaces having already shut down or on the verge of doing so and now many US event venues are on the brink of closing down including the legendary Troubadour in Los Angeles which would be a huge blow for the industry.

So in response to the imminent collapse of the live music sector, legendary country performer Tanya Tucker has confirmed that she will be releasing a fundraising album in support of the Troubadour with her ‘Live From The Troubadour’ collection that will raise vital funds for the venue.

Speaking about the upcoming charity project, Tanya Tucker stated: ” Even though the money stops, the bills don’t. We all know that. These venues out there are just sitting there doing nothing. Places like the legendary Troubadour, where some of the greatest artists in the world have performed, need help or those places may never come back at all…..It just makes sense to give back to the Troubadour with this album and hopefully help out.”

The full LP tracklist is as follows:

  1. Would You Lay With Me (In a Field of Stone)
  2. Jamestown Ferry
  3. What’s Your Mama’s Name, Child
  4. Blood Red and Goin’ Down
  5. Strong Enough to Bend
  6. I’m on Fire / Ring of Fire (Medley)
