Lauren Davidson Releases New Single ‘Going Nowhere’
Nashville based country music singer/songwriter Lauren Davidson proves there is always two sides to every breakup with her stellar new single titled ‘Going Nowhere’ which is the latest in a long line of releases this year that have helped to truly put the rising star on the map as “the next big thing”.
Since February, Davidson has been sharing impressive songs that have been lifted off her ‘Love Ain’t Fair’ EP including the standout ‘Compass’, and ‘Find Me’, both of which were huge breakout hits for the American performer who despite a turbulent year of restrictions has managed to stay creative.
And the result of that creativity has come to the forefront with ‘Going Nowhere’ which is her best offering to date with the sonic sound, and the lyrical story really allowing her to come into her own as a recording artist as she continues to build on her previous successes and step the course of superstardom.
Speaking about her latest offering, Lauren Davidson told media outlet Country Sway: “Going Nowhere is a breakup song about just that, a relationship out of nowhere going nowhere and ending. I’ve been on both sides of this story – the expected and the unexpected and it sucks no matter how you slice it. It was important for me to share that because I think so many people have experienced this as well so for me its just my way of sharing that experience and pain.“
It’s a brilliant take on a relationship and breakup and showcases two sides of the same coin delivering a unique viewpoint that is not often featured in songs on these subjects making the track a standout release from Lauren as she continues to rise the ranks of the country crossover market.
