Lady A Announce Deluxe Version Of ‘Ocean’ Album
Back in November of last year award-winning country music trio, Lady A wowed with their stunning studio album ‘Ocean’ which signaled a return to their natural sonic roots of glorious harmonies, and epic, heart-break ballads making it a major standout offering from the US band.
And now it has been formally announced by the group who this year changed their name from Lady Antebellum to Lady A in the face of the global Black Lives Matter movement and the fight for systematic change, that they will be re-sharing the album as a deluxe edition this coming Friday, November 20th.
The updated collection sees the group consisting of Charles Kelley, Hillary Scott, and Dave Haywood, delivering six brand new songs that have been incorporated into the original tracklist with the forthcoming updated project being released to celebrate the albums one-year anniversary.
Speaking about the LP, Hillary says: “It’s crazy to think this album is only turning a year old because it has already been part of so many moments for us as a band. We wanted to share our appreciation with our fans with a couple of never-released tracks we thought they might like and put a spin on some others that have been fun to play around with during quarantine.”
The deluxe edition which also includes a collaboration with Thomas Rhett looks set to be one of the most impressive records of the year with Lady A offering listeners a glorious updated re-release that retains the magic of the original whilst delivering six bonus tracks that will no doubt delight fans.
