Hicktown Breakout Announce New EP ‘Lost Myself’

On-the-rise Bristol-based five-piece country music influenced band Hicktwn Breakout are set for a huge 2021 with the release of their eagerly awaited new EP ‘Lost Myself’ dropping on Friday, January 15th with the record set to be one of the most impressive collections of the year.

The forthcoming project follows on from the release of their 2019 self-titled EP and sees them building on the success of that and its resulting hit singles that have been shared since. The upcoming EP also builds on the foundation of their 2020 releases including the hit ‘Get Your Boots On’.

The soundscape of the ‘Lost Myself’ record will once again see them blending rock with country to create a dynamic crossover style that is uniquely their own whilst the clear British influence of their homeland runs deep throughout making for an epic sonic stylistic that makes Hicktown Breakout stand out from the rest.

It’s a stellar collection of songs that set a marker for what the group have in store for their fans across 2021 and teases a brilliant new era for the English crossover outfit as they showcase that their alternative country style is here to stay and is ready to make a splash on the charts.

Speaking about the forthcoming EP, Hicktown Breakout say: “We want to show the bands ‘fun and serious’ side with this EP, bringing together a mix of beer-fuelled floor fillers and thought-provoking ballads. Inspired by our own personal life stories, this new EP takes the listener on a rollercoaster ride of life’s journey that everyone can relate to.”
