Ross Ellis Releases New Single ‘I Wish You Would’
On-the-rise global country music sensation and Sony Music Nashville recording artist Ross Ellis is ready to take his burgeoning career to the next level with the release of impressive new single titled ‘I Wish You Would’ which is out now across all digital download and streaming platforms.
The multi-talented artist is a well-known and much-revered writer within Music City having already penned hits for the likes of Tim McGraw (‘Neon Church’) and Gary Allen (‘Slide’), and now he is showing that his own music is ready for major chart success across the globe too.
For the fiery ‘I Wish You Would’, singer/songwriter Ross Ellis teamed up with fellow creatives Michael Whitworth and Dan Fernandez to create the dazzling lyrical story arc whilst Brandon Hood and Dann Huff joined forces to produce and executively produce the country smash.
The latest track from the Louisiana native follows on from the breakout success of his summer 2020 single ‘Love Blind’ and allows him the opportunity to shine a light on his growing vocal, and songwriting maturity as he continues to rise up the ranks within the country music scene.
Speaking about his newest single, Ross Ellis says: “Most of my songs have some part of my life experiences in them. ‘‘I Wish You Would’ is kind of a distant adult cousin to ‘Ghosts.’ Whereas ‘Ghosts’ deals with emotional and spiritual loss in a break-up, ‘I Wish You Would’ is about dealing with the physical loss. It’s the fun, sexy kind of heartbreak. I’ve been through both and have more than one tee shirt.”
