Becky Lawrence Releases New Single ‘You Say’

Fast-rising British country music singer/songwriter is all set for a huge 2020 and with the release of her stellar new single ‘, You Say’ she has begun her path to having a truly successful breakout year in the industry. Following on from her UKCM2020 nomination she is set to further see her stock rise this year.

The heartfelt, emotive song was shared on Love Is Kind Day and is a poignant tribute to her partner and is a real celebration of true love and all that comes from being in an emotionally stable relationship as you face the day to day struggles together, it is a truly outstanding offering.

The song is made even more impressive by the fact that it is Becky Lawrence’s very first original release as so far she has built her career on co-writing for other artists and performing covers so this track signals the beginning of an exciting new era for the UK artist.

After a string of short-term and failed relationships, I’m so grateful to have enjoyed his companionship for the past few years. I hope that he is the one I spend the rest of my life with. That evening, I reminisced about the kindness he has shown me, and the words of encouragement he has shared and continues to share… words that still bring me comfort today, years later. So, basically, I’ve joined some of the greats in writing a soppy, upbeat country/pop ballad about my love for my man, my appreciation of his kindness, and as a reminder to everybody that we can build people up with our kind words.”
