Louise Parker Shares ‘Lie To Me’ Video

On-the-rise British singer/songwriter Louise Parker shared her outstanding new single ‘Lie To Me’ back in June of this year to mass critical and fan acclaim and the track is already widely regarded as her “best release” to date. Already one of the UK’s most exciting talents this offering has seen her rise even further up the ranks as she continues on the path to worldwide success.

And as she looks to further blaze a trail within the ever-growing UK sector of country music, the Essex performer has also shared the cinematic visual for the single. The clip is Parker’s very first music video and it is absolutely beautiful and compliments the lyrical story perfectly.

The gorgeous video was directed and produced by the multi-talented filmographer Charles Hurst and was filmed on location in and around the beautiful Thelford Forest which gives the visual a stunning backdrop of luscious landscape allowing for Louise to deliver a truly stellar piece of film which is made more impressive by the fact that this is her inaugural music video release.

Speaking about the inspiration behind her newest single, Louise Parker says: ‘‘Lie to Me is born out of my indecisiveness; I was unhappy but wasn’t quite sure how it could be fixed. I am a human of simple pleasures. I don’t need flowers and gifts to make me happy, I need long deep conversations and hugs and sometimes, in this day and age, people find that hard to see. We have the whole world at our fingertips, information at the click of a button. This song is a reminder that, like everyone else, sometimes all I need is to be told everything will be alright.’

Since its official release back in late June, the ‘Lie To Me’ single has been making hugely impressive milestones and has already racked up in excess of 4,000 Spotify streams and even reached number 2 on the official UK iTunes Country Chart on its official release day.
