Brittany McLamb Announces Cover Of ‘O Holy Night’
On-the-rise Nashville-based country crossover singer/songwriter Brittany McLamb is having a super busy end of the year, and as 2020 draws to a close the performer has confirmed that she will be sharing her gorgeous cover of the classic ‘O Holy Night’ on Monday, November 30th.
The festive season has always been a favorite time of year for McLamb who celebrates her birthday on December 23rd making the holidays extra special for the multi-talented performer so it makes sense for her to put her excitement for Christmas into a new cover version of the classic carol.
Her rendition of the holiday favorite is fresh and exciting and allows for her to shine a light on her stunning vocal tone as she puts her own unique country music spin on ‘O Holy Night’ making for a remarkable new version of the global Christmas classic. This is a sure-fire hit from the US performer.
Speaking about the track and its release, Brittany McLamb says: “Christmas is my favorite holiday and I just love Christmas music, It always gets me in the festive mood and feeling a bit nostalgic. I have always wanted to record a Christmas song to release, but just never have. That changes this year with my all-time favorite Christmas tune, O Holy Night! I’m super excited for everyone to hear it and I hope it gets folks in the Christmas spirit!”
Due to COVID-19 restrictions, McLamb recorded her vocal cut for ‘O Holy Night’ at home as did long-time friend Mark Lonsway for his backing vocal delivery, the vocals were then sent off to be produced, mixed, and mastered by Sheffield based producer Aidan Thompson in the UK.
