Laura Evans Announces New Single ‘Mess Of Me’

Following on from the success of her newest EP, fast-rising country-influenced singer/songwriter Laura Evans is ready to share her most stunning single yet with the hauntingly stripped back ‘Mess Of Me’ dropping on Tuesday, December 1st with the track set to be her best offering to date.

The Welsh performer has quickly risen up the ranks in recent years and as her star continues to rise in her native Wales, the wider UK circuit and international industry insiders are now picking up on her incredible talent and she is fast becoming one of the genre’s most loved and revered voices.

And with her latest single ‘Mess Of Me’ dropping next month Laura Evans is set to see her star rise even further. The forthcoming acoustic track has been co-written by Evans alongside Nashville vocal powerhouse Jenn Bostic with the pair creating a truly mesmerizing song that connects on a deep level.

Speaking about her latest release, Laura Evans says: “All my latest singles have been empowering upbeat songs, but this song definitely shows my more vulnerable side. I recorded it at Momentum studios with producer Josiah J Manning. We decided to record it LIVE in one take with Josiah on the beautiful grand piano, we then added in some harmonies later. I’m so glad we recorded it this way. It definitely brought out the depth & heartbreaking emotion of the song”.

Laura’s soulful vocal fits this melancholy vibe perfectly allowing for dark undertones, and the hauntingly beautiful production to take control of the direction of the track. The rising star is one of country music’s finest vocalists and with ‘Mess Of Me’ she has delivered one of the best releases of the year.
