Caitlin Quisenberry Releases New Single ‘Cowboys Make Better Lovers’

Nashville-based country music singer/songwriter Caitlin Quisenberry is continuing on the path to global chart success with the release of her latest in a long line of standout singles – ‘Cowboys Make Better Lovers’ is her newest offering and she has once again delivered a terrific country track.

It is an honest and raw lyrical release from the fast-rising superstar with the stellar song feeling like it has come straight out of her diary as she bares her soul and professes a desire to find a romance that is a little more risky, carefree and dangerous like that love you’d get from a wild cowboy.

Caitlin co-wrote ‘Cowboys Make Better Lovers’ with esteemed writers Olivia Faye, Jesse Labelle and Corey Lee Barker, who also just recently pitched the song to the TV series Yellowstone. Meanwhile, music producer, Jason Wyatt, constructed a musical masterpiece reminiscent of the Wild West with melodies laced with striking undertones.

Speaking about the track, Caitlin says: “There is nothing more seductive than a cowboy. Cowboys have played an iconic role in American history. The thrill of the Wild West has become a beloved part of pop culture. The setting and visualization of this song was very
important. I wanted the beginning to be simple and stripped down, with just my voice and the guitar, as if we were sitting around a campfire sharing stories. My lyrics revolve around the tagline, ‘I want to know why they say, cowboys make better lovers.’ In the song, I confess that I’m ready to give up ‘city boys’ to try something ‘more risky’. Like other songs I’ve released, this one also promotes female empowerment – making
yourself happy, taking risks, knowing what you want and going for it. My producer, Jason Wyatt, was brilliant in painting the most beautiful backdrop for my lyrics. As you mosey your way along in the song, I’m hoping you feel that aching desire that only the Wild West can give you… the feeling of freedom, adventure, peacefulness and satisfaction. Let this song be a little escape into the wilderness, forgetting about the
hustle and bustle of our hectic lives. Let us appreciate the spirit of the cowboy in all of us, as we ride and never worry about the fall.”
