Morgan Evans Releases New Single ‘Over For You’

Following on from the crushing announcement of his imminent divorce from Kelsea Ballerini, singer/songwriter Morgan Evans debuted the incredibly poignant, raw and vulnerable track ‘Over For You’ at CMC Rocks QLD Festival in front of 25,000 fans who quickly fell in love with the heart-wrenching song.

It connected so strongly with those in the audience and fans around the world that Evans shortly afterwards released that live version for download and then decided it was time to share a studio version too and that is out now with Morgan delivering one of the best country break-up hits of the decade.

‘Over For You’ also impacts US Country Radio immediately – it is one of those releases that showcases every facet of Morgan Evans’ artistry and allows him to tell his side of the story – he is entirely open with listeners through the heartbreaking lyrics and is unashamedly saying “this is how it was for me”.

Speaking about the release, Morgan says: “It was a difficult time in my life and writing this helped me process a lot of what I was going through. I’d like to thank everyone that has reached out the last few weeks, both those with messages of support and those sharing their own stories.”

This is a powerful and moving offering from Morgan Evans and the most personal track he has ever shared – he is laying his heart and soul bare and in doing so he is helping many others going through the same be able to process their own feelings and emotions too which is the power of music.
