Following on from the release of her incredibly honest, and raw EP ’29’, earlier in the year, award-winning country music performer Carly Pearce has teased fans across her social media platforms that this chapter is not entirely closed and that new music will be arriving very soon.
The ’29’ record is a hugely personal body of work from the future voice of country and symbolizes the growth she has undergone in recent years as an artist finding her true sound – the album also represents the toughest yet most empowering time in her life including her painful divorce.
Not one to shy away from wearing her heart on her sleeve and telling her truth, the songs on the project took listeners through multiple aspects of her 29th year; the ups, the downs, and everything in between making for a wonderful collection that sets Pearce apart from the current crop of rising stars.
And now, despite the LP looking like it brought some much-needed closure to Carly Pearce and closed the book on one of her toughest years yet, the singer/songwriter has confirmed via social media that this part of her story hasn’t been finished yet and she has, in fact, returned to the studio to craft the ending.
It’s a huge bonus for her growing global fanbase that they can expect to hear more from the ’29’ era as it is such a multi-faceted story filled with heartbbreak, inspiration, and just a purity that there is a light. It’s one of the most beautifully contructed country records of all time and to know there’s more on the way is just something to truly cherish.
