CMA Fest 2024 Round-Up

Once again country music took over the entirety of Nashville for CMA Fest 2024 between June 6-9 for four days of incredible music scattered across the city including a stadium show each night at the Nissan Stadium.

There’s something truly magical about being in Nashville whilst CMA Fest is taking place and this year was no different with outstanding sets from Dasha and Mickey Guyton wowing the crowd at Spotify House on Broadway. Dasha is still new to the scene but she had the capacity crowd in full voice with her viral hit ‘Austin’, while Mickey showcased her intricate songwriting style and soulful vocals.

Meanwhile, rising talent Harper Grace played two incredible sets at the fest including a memorable showcase at the Ascend Amphitheatre for Curb Records’ 50th anniversary and her set on the Reverb Stage in Downtown had crowds flocking to the inside and surrounding areas creating a roadblock. She delivered an electric 30-minute set in the blazing sunshine and had her rockstar moment, breaking guitars during her performance of ‘Break It Like A Man’.

Surrounding areas also hosted their own songwriting sessions with the likes of Sarah Darling, Six One Five Collective, Renee Blair, Dom Ellis, and more getting the opportunity to showcase their talents for the 90K strong crowds each day flocking to the city for their country music fix in the sunshine.

British talent Twinnie also had the opportunity to play several times including a stellar performance at the BMI Block Party in the parking lot at The Ryman Auditorium where she performed hits such as ‘Girl In Your Songs’, and ‘Better When I’m A Drunk’ along with new cuts such as ‘Happy Hour’, and Don’t Need A Cowboy’ delivering a little glimpse of what’s to come from the upcoming record.

Carly Pearce meanwhile shone like a true superstar during her set at the Nissan Stadium. She recently released her new album ‘Hummingbird’ and celebrated in style on stage performing to 60,000 fans. That came after she had performed an intimate set at the Music City Centre for her Carly’s Closet event offering fans the chance to get up close.

CMA Fest 2024 was a real party and possibly the best festival to date. It had everything, fantastic talent, amazing fans, and a collective feel-good atmosphere that rippled across the whole city and brought everyone together in a celebration of country music. There was so much to see and so many wonderful highlights.
