LIVE REVIEW: Chanel Yates @ The Forge, London

Last night (Tuesday, June 18th) on-the-rise British country artist Chanel Yates performed at the intimate The Forge venue located within The Lower Third in Central London to a sold-out crowd further showcasing her growing reputation as one of the most exciting country voices emerging onto the scene.

Her 30-minute set consisted of several original tracks including the breakout ‘Studio Apartment’, and latest offering ‘Friend From Work’ along with anthemic covers of Dolly Parton’s ‘Jolene’ and Noah Kahan’s viral hit ‘Stick Season’ ensuring a coupe of mass sing-along moments for the singer/songwriter.

Since her appearance on The Voice UK back in 2021, Chanel Yates has grown a strong and supportive base fanbase that is continuing to grow with each and every song she shares. She is a brilliant talent and the growing UK country-pop scene is much richer for having her be a part of the fold.

And last night at The Forge in London, she delivered a polished performance worthy of some of the most famous stages in the city. It’s fantastic to see her playing in these small rooms as it won’t be too long until she’s outgrown them and graduated to much bigger venues across the country. This is just the start.

Chanel Yates is a real talent with a unique ability to craft country-pop hits that hit the mark every single time and her stage presence is captivating and allows her the opportunity to connect with her fans.
