Danny McMahon Announces New Single ‘Best Worst Habit’
Fast-rising British country music talent Danny McMahon is quickly rising up the ranks thanks to his standout vocal talent, and stellar songwriting skill that sees him continually pen wonderfully crafted songs seemingly at ease making him one of the most revered singer/songwriters.
His star shot into the stratosphere earlier this year thanks to the release of his hit single ‘My Kinda City’ which shot straight to number one on the Official UK i Tunes Chart, whilst in 2029 he was named The UK Country Artist Of The Year, and now he is building on that foundation with his latest single ‘Best Worst Habit’.
The forthcoming release from McMahon will drop on Friday, November 13th, and once again sees him blending together a fusion of sonic sounds from old-school country vibes, to modern-day country-pop crossover radio styles to create a brilliant soundscape that sets him apart from the rest.
Speaking about his new release, Danny McMahon says: āI really wanted to push the boundaries with the production on this one. I feel Nashville artists like Morgan Wallen, Mitchell Tenpenny, and Filmore to name a few have smashed it out the park in terms of how creative their sonic signatures have become in recent times. Thatās something I found really inspiring when co-writing and co-producing this song. I love the blend of new and traditional sitting hand in hand and thatās very much what the essence of this song is about. Laurenās lyrical approach and creativity was also super fresh for me during this process, and I canāt wait for people to hear what sheās capable of”.
The songs co-writer Lauren Campbell adds: “As a songwriter, I try to write songs that people can relate to and create their own meaning to. But to me, the song is a way of saying āOut of all the habits I have, loving you is my favouriteā¦even if it is bad for me in the long run!”.
The pair have certainly worked together as a team to create the best sound they could for this offering making it a hugely impressive release that sounds like a huge hit from one of Nashville’s leading male acts. This has the potential to become Danny’s biggest crossover success to date.
