Nashville based country music singer/songwriter earlier this summer wowed with his latest single ‘I Got A Truck’ which is one the major standout releases of 2020 so far with the multi-talented vocalist shining a light on his soaring vocal tone, and stellar songwriting talent that is up there with the very best.

And now Dawson has shared the official music video for the hit track with the visual perfectly bringing the songs lyrical story to life. Filmed by Justin Clough in Pueblo, Colorado, the clip features the actual truck that Devin drove from California to Tennessee when he made the decision to follow his passion for country music.

The emotive music video fittingly captures the feeling of dream chasing, empowerment, and determination that flows through the powerful, heartfelt lyrics of the track that is an honest tale of grit and determination from the US talent as he lays his incredible musical journey bare for all to see.

Speaking about the simple, yet stunning official video for his latest single release ‘I Got A Truck’ Devin says: “We decided to drive my old truck from Nashville to Pueblo, CO to the video shoot location. She barely made it but hey … she made it… and we had a hell of a time along the way”.

Along with sharing a brand new visual, it has also been confirmed that Dawson will be joining British country music duo Ward Thomas at their upcoming virtual live-stream event which will see the girls performing live from the Theatre Royal in London with Dawson playing a support slot from Nashville – tickets for the event are on sale now.
