Dolly Parton Releases New Christmas Cover ‘I Saw Mommy Kissing Santa Claus’

With her holiday album ‘A Holly Dolly Christmas’ now just weeks away, country music icon Dolly Parton is getting fans in the Christmas spirit early this year with the release of her whimsical cover of the classic hit ‘I Saw Mommy Kissing Santa Claus’ which has been lifted off the forthcoming LP’s tracklist.

The festive track is one of Dolly’s most favourite songs from her childhood and one that brings back many happy memories for the legendary singer/songwriter and with her stunning rendition she will no doubt be making the song a favourite for many people across the world this winter.

This is the second single to be officially lifted off ‘A Holly Dolly Christmas’ which drops on Friday, October 2nd and is the follow up to ‘Mary Did You Know?’ which was released back last month and delivered a gorgeous new reimagining of the hugely popular Christmas classic with Dolly Parton once again showcasing her incredible vocal range.

Speaking about her latest offering, Parton says: “I have always loved ‘I Saw Mommy Kissing Santa Claus’ because it’s a song I heard growing up. I wanted to do something for the kids and I think it’s a real cute little song. I have a child-like spirit and I love everything about Christmas!”

The upcoming Christmas album from Dolly will also feature a hugely exciting line-up of collaborations with the worlds biggest stars including with her Goddaughter Miley Cyrus, chat-show host Jimmy Fallon, country music performer Billy Ray Cyrus, crooner Michael Bublé, country icon Willie Nelson, and a special duet with her brother, Randy Parton.
