Ward Thomas Share ‘Meant To Be Me -Acoustic’ Video

This past Friday (September 11th) British country-pop music duo Ward Thomas shared the stunning acoustic version of their newest single ‘Meant To Be Me’ which is the latest track to be lifted off their forthcoming fourth studio album ‘Invitation’ ahead of its October 9th release.

The stripped-back reimagining of the track allows for Catherine and Lizzy to truly let their vocal harmonies shine whilst giving them the chance to bring the lyrical story to the forefront. Acoustically the twins always sound insanely perfect as they let their gorgeous voices blend together for one luscious harmony.

And now Ward Thomas have also shared the official music video for their acoustic version of their hit single ‘Meant To Be Me’ with the simple clip being shot at their rural Hampshire cottage where much of the ‘Invitation’ album was created and finished during the enforced UK lockdown.

The sun-drenched video sees the Brit sisters performing the song under a tree with Catherine playing acoustic guitar as the gorgeous green landscape shot fills the background perfectly bringing a picturesque countryside vibe to the visual aesthetic for the phenomenal recording from the singer/songwriters.

Confirming the release of the beautiful music video Ward Thomas who are one of the most impressive acts across the ever-growing UK country crossover scene stated: “We sat under our favourite tree at home and filmed an acoustic video for our new song “Meant Be Be Me” if you fancy a watch”.
