Emma and Jolie Announce New Single ‘How Do I Choose’ Featuring Josh Kerr
On-the-rise British country-pop duo Emma and Jolie return next Friday (March 26th) with their stunning new single ‘How Do I Choose’ which sees them teaming up with Grammy award-winning singer/songwriter Josh Kerr for a phenomenal collaboration that will no doubt wow listeners.
Their latest offering featuring the Nashville based artist comes on the back of a truly remarkable breakout year for the pair which saw them burst onto the scene with their debut single ‘I Don’t Need A Man’ back in 2020 amidst the first lockdown which was then quickly followed up by the poignant ‘Cry For You’.
And with those songs including a gorgeous acoustic version of ‘I Don’t Need A Man’ still garnering some serious attention and racking up the streams and downloads across multiple platforms Emma and Jolie are ready to take a major step toward global chart success with the fantastic ‘How Do I Choose’.
Speaking about the forthcoming release and its heartfelt lyrical story, Emma Walker says: “[It’s] based on trying to decide whether you should stay with someone who you know isn’t good for you, and feeling like you will lose whatever decision you make. It feels as if you are already heartbroken from what this person has put you through and the hurt that you’ve experienced, but leaving them will break your heart even more because you love them. It gets to the point where you have to decide if all the pain is worth it, and you know that you need to put yourself first, but you feel so strongly for that person and you can’t bear to think about your life without them”.
The heartwrenching track was penned by Emma, and duet partner Jolie Harvey with Josh Kerr via a Zoom co-write during quarantine with the trio quickly bonding over relationships and heartbreak and their three voices have come together to create a truly outstanding heartstring-pulling ballad that has the potential to become a global smash-hit.
