Filmore Releases New Single ‘Good Thing’
Curb Records’ country music recording artist Filmore is ready to kick-start an exciting new chapter which will see him release a string of new songs and that begins today (March 19th) with ‘Good Thing’ which is available to stream and download across all leading platforms.
The forthcoming singles will be getting drip-fed to fans across the coming months allowing for the multi-talented cross-genre performer to further build his reputation as one of the most exciting crossover artists to be emerging onto the scene at this moment in time.
And with ‘Good Thing’, Filmore has delivered a wonderful offering that sees him bringing to life a lyrical story that focuses on those sweet memories that he once shared with a former lover, and wondering if she too, ever looks back and wonders what could’ve been if they had never broken up.
Speaking about the song, Filmore says: “My song, ‘Good Thing,’ is about key moments and experiences since I moved to Nashville. The song is looking back at real aspects of my past during my early 20s. It was my first time living in a city by myself and sharing that with another human. All those things are touched on in this song from a very real place. When you look back and reminisce on things, it doesn’t mean that it was bad—you can have a good thing back then and not be with that person now. There’s just different chapters of life, and that’s what ‘Good Thing’ is for me.”
To bring the vision of the track and its story-arc to life, the American singer/songwriter teamed up with Music City writers Geoff Warburton and Zach Abend with the trio of musicians working in perfect harmony to allow the real-life experiences to flow easily through the lyrics.
