Fast-rising American country crossover artist Lauren Davidson is having a huge year o success having shared a string of hit singles that have gained serious industry and fan support and as that momentum continues to grow so does the reach of her latest offering ‘Going Nowhere’.
The track is a stellar release from Davidson, possibly her very best yet, with the lyrical story focusing on a relationship that has gone wrong, and ended abruptly with little or no explanation of how it came to be this way. It’s a powerful offering and one that will no doubt strike a chord with fans across the globe.
And with Lauren Davidson continuing to push the song, she has now shared the official lyric video for the track which has given the promotion another dimension and added a layer to the release strategy which in turn gives it a massive boost and offers another platform for country crossover listeners to discover her, and her music.
Speaking about the track, Lauren says: “So this is the first song I wrote with Tommy Cole back in I think it was January of 2018, I recently listened to our original work tape which was so fun and I had originally planned to record and release this song last year after Soaking Up Every Second and for whatever reasons didn’t. We had started the recording process in Nashville and then the song just sat on a shelf. I decided last minute after COVID hit to include this song on the Love Ain’t Fair EP and when it was safe to do so, I finished it up here in NYC”.
Along with sharing the standout lyric video for ‘Going Nowhere’, Lauren Davidson also has a few more surprises up her sleeve for before the end of the year including a brand new single dropping next month as she looks to build on the solid foundation of success she has garnered this year. She really is a special talent and this feels like the start of an incredible adventure.
