Ferris & Sylvester Announce New EP ‘I Should Be On A Train’

This Friday (October 2nd), Ferris & Sylvester return with the release of their brand new EP titled ‘I Should Be On A Train’ which will be shared via LAB Records and promises to be one of the major standout genre fusions of the year so far with the pair looking to incorporate a blend of sonic sounds throughout.

The forthcoming record will see the duo building on their Americana, country, folk, and blues roots stylistic that sets them apart from the current crop of artists on the scene right now and daring to go a little further this time around the EP will also include a brilliant touch of psychedelia.

This record is Ferris & Sylvester’s first body of work to be released since their 2018 EP ‘Made In Streatham’ which was a huge breakout for the Brit stars with it having racked up in excess of four million streams so far across Spotify whilst also seeing them receiving major critical acclaim and even airplay from Radio 1.

Speaking about their latest project Ferris & Sylvester say: “It feels a lifetime ago that we started putting it together. We wrote and produced it in our studio at home with our sidekick Michael (Mr Jackanory). It gave us a purpose. We learned new instruments, discovered the joys of making videos on film, and tried to connect with a world that’s changing every day”.

The ‘I Should Be On A Train’ EP is set to be one of the most impressive releases of 2020 so far and will be supported by a huge run of dates across the UK and US next year as the pair continue breaking down barriers across the Americanna scene that they are beautifully influenced by.
