Filmore Announces Debut Album ‘State I’m In’

Nashville based country music performer Filmore is ready to completely take over the scene this year with the release of his debut album ‘State I’m In’ later this month. Having already racked up in excess of 146 million streams he is already one of the most loved and recognized voices across the country genre and this record will no doubt be one of the biggest hits of the year.

The album comes on the back of his latest hit single ‘Other Girl’, which has been streamed more than 21 million times by avid listeners across the globe. The forthcoming 18-song project delves into the singer/songwriter’s changing year including his recent engagement to long-term girlfriend Paige.

Over the past several years, Filmore has seen his global fanbase grow rapidly and during this year he was set to spend an extended period of time in the UK playing shows at C2C, and also supporting Twinnie on her headline tour however Coronavirus scuppered those plans but the talented, artist hasn’t stopped that from allowing him to have a terrific twelve months and the release of his debut LP will be a crowning moment for the rising star.

Speaking about ‘State I’m In’, Filmore says: “This album is a look into my life over the last few years. It’s the ups and downs in relationships, experiences from my hometown, life on the road, and living in Nashville. I wrote every song from a real and personal place with amazing writers and friends. My hope is that you can listen to this album from start to finish and know who Filmore is by the end. Knowing that these songs relate to others, to help them get through a break-up, or celebrate love, or just let them enjoy a night out with friends, is why I made this album. State I’m In can be a state of mind or a specific location that helps you remember a moment in your life. For me, every one of these songs represents a moment in time that made me who I am today.”

The much-anticpted body of work has been a labor of love for the US country crossover sensation with him working with producer Zach Aben to create an honest record that brings to life the core of country music’s sensibilities whilst delivering a fusion of sonic genres which creates a truly outstanding debut offering from the future superstar.
