Gabby Barrett Releases New Version Of ‘I Hope’ FT Charlie Puth

American country music talent Gabby Barrett has this year become one of the major breakout names across the genre having garnered a phenomenal on demand 460 million career streams she has been tipped by Billboard and Forbes as a likely nominee at next year’s Grammy Awards for Best New Artist.

Now the US superstar is setting her sights on international chart success with the official UK release of the new version of her hit single ‘I Hope’ featuring guest vocals from pop sensation Charlie Puth which offers a fantastic crossover rendition of the original and giving it a fresh twist on the classic country sound.

Speaking about the latest rendition of ‘I Hope’, Gabby Barrett says: “With Charlie being on this track, it changes the perspective of the song. When I wrote it I was writing from a woman’s perspective, and so with him being on it, it kind of shows the men’s perspective too. That both sides get cheated on and it’s not just a one-sided thing.”

Meanwhile Charlie Puth adds: “I fell in love with the song when I first heard it, and to be able to re-imagine it with Gabby and the writers and producers and take it to a new place, is really exciting.”

The updated offering breathes new life into the original release which broke records in the States with Gabby becoming the first solo female to top the country radio charts with a debut single since back in 2017, and with the pop crossover release, she looks set to further her incredible chart and streaming success across the UK in particular.
