Gabrielle Mooney Releases New Single ‘Come On In’
Fast-rising country music singer/songwriter Gabrielle Mooney (older sister of Shay Mooney) has this past week released her dreamy new single titled ‘Come On In’ which has a heartfelt lyrical story that is inspired by her family. Featuring a soaring vocal display from Gabrielle the track is a major standout.
The lyrics in the song come from a personal place and speak of Sunday dinners, sneaking out late, and driving down her hometown roads which are just a few of the experiences that have molded her into the person and artist she is today. Country music is synonymous with the truth and this track speaks just that.
Although her first release under her birth name the ‘Come On In’ single is not Gabrielle Mooney’s first time entering the world of country in fact she has previously written and recorded multiple tracks under the pen name Lyrix including co-writing Walker Hayes’ huge hit ’90s Country’.
Speaking to People about using her real name for this project, Gabrielle says: “My family cared so much about their values and Jesus that they named us with purposeful names, based on the Hebrew meanings. [So] I’m proud that ‘I’m debuting this special song with my given name, Gabrielle.”
The brilliant offering features a catchy, uptempo melody which is overlayed by her captivating, and rich vocal tone whilst the deeply personal lyrical story announces the rising star onto the scene as she begins an exhilarating new era of sharing heartfelt country songs under her own name.
