Gary Allan Announces New Album ‘Ruthless’
Country music legend Gary Allan has formally announced that his brand new album titled ‘Ruthless’ will be arriving later this summer with the forthcoming record expected to drop on June 25th across all leading platforms around the world – it’s an album that is set to make some serious waves.
The upcoming, eagerly awaited project has been self-produced by Gary alongside renowned music makers Mark Wright, Tony Brown, Greg Droman, Jay Joyce, and will feature 13 brand new songs as he looks to share an extensive collection with his avid listenership across the globe.
The LP sees Gary Allan drawing on his sonic influences from the 80s, and 90s and feels engaging and fresh as the singer/songwriter creates a dynamic soundscape that is littered with both old-school and modern-day vibes making for an eclectic tracklist that is true to his artistry.
Speaking about the record Allan states: “This is a montage of everything I have done since my last album. It’s what I love. I remain influenced by the ‘90s — as well as by the ‘80s. Twenty-six tracks were cut for this album. Then I went back to the studio and recorded three or four more tracks. Then I returned for two more. From each of these many sessions, I stripped out the cool stuff that I wanted on the record.”
‘Ruthless’ is expected to be a huge hit when it drops this coming June and it’s a collection that will no doubt earn Gary Allan a whole new demographic of fans too as he looks to broaden his style and global reach with an album that incorporates multiple sonic stylistics throughout.
