Holly Auna Releases New Single ‘Lonely’

On-the-rise country talent and verified TikTok sensation Holly Auna has shared her outstanding new single ‘Lonely’ which rocketed up the iTunes Chart debuting at number 1 just 24 hours after its official release earlier in the week showcasing her ever-growing global reach as she continues to push for worldwide stardom.

The lyrical story features pensive lyrics such as “those aren’t my eyes I’m looking into, and my smile to me, is way too easy to see through, is it just me, ’cause everyone else seems to think, we’re everything happy people should be!” in a reminder that things aren’t always what they seem.

The track is mature in its theme and allows for Auna to build on the success of her 2019 ‘Love Shouldn’t Be So Hard’ which led to multiple award nominations, and landed her on curated Spotify playlists shining on a light on her appeal across the country scene and beyond as she crosses between the mainstream pop world with her music too.

Speaking about her latest offering, Holly Auna says: “When I was in high school I wrote down the song idea I’m not alone, but I’m lonely and I held onto that idea for years. But, I think I had to really live it before I was able to write it. In 2017, I sat down with two of my best friends, Lydia Dall and Dan Kozlowski. We talked, we cried, we wrote. I don’t think I’ve ever been as honest as I was while writing this song and that’s probably why it is still my favorite song I’ve ever written. Ten years in the making, I’m glad Lonely is finally being released into the world.”

It’s a thoughtful, emotive track that will no doubt strike a chord with many listeners across the world especially during these very trying times and it will also allow for Holly to push her music further into the mainstream market as she puts herself on the map “as the next big thing” in country.
