Houston Bernard Releases New Single ‘People We Are’

On-the-rise country music performer Houston Bernard is an accomplished singer/songwriter in his own right but every now and then a song comes along from other songwriters and just seems to fit and that’s exactly what happened with ‘People We Are’ When the track landed in his inbox he knew it needed to be recorded.

The standout song has been penned by songwriting powerhouses Kim Penz, and Cole Taylor who have written hits for some of country music’s biggest stars including the likes of Jason Aldean, Florida Georgia Line, and Luke Bryan to name a few and this offering suited Houston’s style perfectly.

The track has become an official single release after Houston Bernard started sharing snippets across social platforms such as video-sharing site TikTok and fans started calling for its official release which the performer quickly obliged and now it’s available to download and stream across all major platforms.

Speaking about the track, Houston says: “I write a lot of my own music but I’m always open to recording others, and when my manager asked me to listen to this song I knew it was right for me. To me this story upholds all the philosophies and ethics of the Bernard family, growing up on the farm in Oklahoma. Generation after generation my Dad’s family was all about these standards: Doing the right thing, being self-sufficient, living within their means, and building something that will stand the test of time”.

The standout song is a wonderful fit for Houston Bernard and perfectly suits his ethos both as an artist and as a person too making it a wonderfully personal offering from a musician well on his way to becoming the newest breakout star in the country music genre around the world.
