Joe McElderry Shares ‘Baby Had Your Fun’ Video
As we usher in 2021, British pop superstar Joe McElderry has debuted his brand new country-tinged single ‘Baby Had Your Fun’ which sees him blending disco into a country soundscape inspired by the likes of UK duo The Shires making for an eclectic soundscape that puts him firmly at the heart of the growing scene.
And as the sing-a-long anthem continues to build traction across multiple streaming and digital download charts, the Geordie performer has now released the official music video for the anthemic crossover floor-filler that will have you singing and dancing along in little to no time at all.
The clip was filmed back in the summer of 2020 just as Coronavirus lockdown restrictions were beginning to ease, although strict social distancing, hand hygiene, and mask-wearing protocols were all followed by those on set. It was shot at Jade Thirwall’s club and expertly directed by Matt Tingle.
Tingle has worked with a number of country music performers on videos, most recently Twinnie’s ‘Feeling Of Falling’ cinematic offering and he has once again done a fantastic job of bringing the vision of ‘Baby Had Your Fun’ to life whilst adhering to all COVID rules to ensure the safety of everyone involved.
Speaking about working on the video with Joe, Matt Tingle says: “Well done Joe on an amazing track. We’re all very excited to finally release the video and to have already received such good feedback. It was a great experience working with Joe for the first time, and rising to the challenge of a COVID safe practice”.
It’s a wonderful visual offering from singer/songwriter Joe McElderry and allows for him to tap into his deep love of performing showcasing that he is just as confident on the dancefloor as he is behind the mic. Matt Tingle meanwhile has done an incredible job of bringing the feel-good track to life.
