Lauren Alaina Announces New Album ‘Sitting Pretty On Top Of The World’
Multi-platinum selling country/pop music recording artist Lauren Alaina is ready to further make her mark on the industry with the release of her hotly anticipated new album titled ‘Sitting Pretty On Top Of The World’ which will be dropping across all platforms from Friday, September 3rd.
The forthcoming collection is Alaina’s third full-length studio album to be distributed via Mercury Nashville / Snakefarm (UK) and follows on from her two breakout, and critically acclaimed EP’s which were shared last year with both ‘Getting Good’, and ‘Getting Over Him’ shining a light on her immense vocal talent.
And with those two hit projects still garnering some serious buzz and attention from both music industry insiders and fans, singer/songwriter Lauren Alaina is ready to showcase her powerful voice, and artistic growth even further with the upcoming ‘Sitting Pretty On Top Of The World’ LP.
Speaking about the record, Alaina says: “It’s about a dreamer becoming an achiever. It’s being broken and ending up healed. It’s all of me. The early chapters. The new beginnings. The hope for the future and total appreciation for the past. Taking the Road Less Traveled and ending up Sitting Pretty on Top of the World.”
The album is being spearheaded by the stellar new single ‘It Was Me’, whilst the full tracklist features 15 brilliant new songs, 14 of which Lauren co-wrote making it a deeply personal, and authentic collection, other writers on the soundtrack include Liz Rose, Lori McKenna, Hillary Lindsey, Emily Weisband, David Garcia, Ben Johnson and more.
