Lindsay Ell Announces New Album ‘Heart Theory’

Chart-topping country music superstar Lindsay Ell has formally announced details of her much-anticpted sophomore album ‘Heart Theory’. The record will be officially dropping on August 14th via BBR/BMG Music Group and is led by the stunning new single ‘wAnt me back”, which was co-written with Kane Brown, Matt McGinn, and Lindsay Rime.

The ‘Heart Theory’ LP and latest single marks the return of Ell who has not shared original new music in three years – a very long wait for her loyal fan base who have been awaiting new tunes from the crossover sensation for what feels like an eternity. The forthcoming album is a stunning 12-track concept collection that journeys through each stage of grief: shock, denial, anger, bargaining, depression, testing, and acceptance.

Lindsay has co-written 11 of the songs featured making it her most personal release to date as she bares her heart and soul like never before. The concept of the record extends to every aspect of the LP – its cover art features the spectrum of corresponding colors to each stage, mirroring the music’s subtle yet engaging movement from dark to light, while its tracklist subtly reveals the album title through the use of seemingly random capitalization.

Speaking about her second album, Lindsay Ell says: “If theory is the science of music, heart theory is the science of a heart. I hope this roadmap can be a comfort if you need it, reassurance when you need to remember to believe in yourself, or maybe just a glimpse into a memory that’s made you who you are.”
