Tenille Townes Releases Debut Album ‘The Lemonade Stand’

Fast-rising country music sensation Tenille Townes this past Friday shared her incredible and much-anticipated debut album ‘The Lemonade Stand’ via Columbia Records in partnership with RCA Records. The record has also been supported by the brand new single ‘Come As You Are’ which was recorded remotely with her band during lockdown.

Along with sharing the stellar project, Townes will also host her annual “Big Hearts For Big Kids” fundraising concert this Tuesday, June 30th at 7 pm CT (1 am BST Weds 1/7) live from Nashville’s historic Mother Church venue the Ryman Auditorium.

The event will be available to stream via Townes’ YouTube, Facebook, and Instagram social media pages, and will feature Tenille performing a selection of tracks off her inaugural album along with special at-home performances from Dierks Bentley, Brandi Carlile, Luke Combs, Andy Grammer, Mickey Guyton, Caylee Hammack, Ashley McBryde, Lori McKenna, Chrissy Metz, John Osborne, and Lucie Silvas. 

Meanwhile, The Bobby Bones Show will also be the virtual event’s exclusive radio partner, featuring an on-air interview with Townes along with the event’s stream live on their Facebook Page. In the decade since Tenille Townes started the fundraiser, “Big Hearts For Big Kids” has raised over $1.9 million for Sunrise House—a local youth shelter in Townes’ hometown of Grande Prairie, Alberta Canada.

This live stream concert feels like the perfect way to celebrate Tenille’s stunning debut LP which is a truly wonderful collection of tracks that set Townes apart from the rest and showcases that she is one of country music’s finest performers.

Speaking about ‘The Lemonade Stand’, Tenille says: “The Lemonade Stand is a collection of songs that mean so much to me and are the way I see the world in this season of my life right now. I want this music to be like a gathering place, where people can come and be filled up. I hope this record reminds people of who they are, that they are not alone, and reminds them of their dreams. This record is the dream that I had when I was a seven-year-old kid singing along in the backseat of the car. She would really be freaking out right now.”
