Lindsay Ell Releases New Single ‘Right On Time’

Multi-award winning recording artist Lindsay Ell who is signed to BMG/Stoney Creek Records has had some phenomenal success in recent years but that hasn’t come without its sacrifices and outside voices trying to dictate what her next steps should be both in her personal and professional life.

And with her latest offering titled ‘Right On Time’ which is available to stream and download across all leading digital platforms right now, the skilled singer/songwriter has put a voice to the societal pressure she often feels as a career-focused woman in her 30s working in the music industry.

The standout track from Lindsay Ell is an anthem for anyone who has ever felt pressured to be something or somebody that they ore not or don’t want to be whilst working on a timeline determined by what society often deems “normal” this is a song or all those writing their own stories.

Speaking about the theme of the release, Lindsay says: “I think women spend a lot of time feeling like they might miss their ‘time’ in life –their time to be beautiful, to be a mother, to have their dream career, to work their ass off. It’s a constant fear that we might miss the very thing we want by focusing on something else, and I think I’m just done worrying about that. This is a new dawn for me. I’m stepping into my new music, unapologetically feeling that I can be certain I’m right where I want to be. ‘Right On Time’ is my own theme song – I’ve been told I’ve missed my chance more times than I can count. If women in Country believed that, we would not triumph in the way we always do. So this song is for anyone who needs to hear and be inspired by the idea that you can’t be late to the party in your own life!”

The core idea of this track feels even more pressing after the past two years where many people felt lost and disillusioned after such a long time away from the outside world and now are stepping out with a fresh perspective and ‘Right On Time’ will be the soundtrack to this new chapter for many.
