Lisa T Announces New Single ‘What Am I Missin’?’
With a Glastonbury Festival performance already in the diary for this summer, on-the-rise country-pop performer Lisa T is set for a pretty big breakout twelve months and she kickstart that exciting new chapter with the release of latest single titled ‘What Am I Missin’?’ which will be released May 6th.
The forthcoming track sees the Manchester-based singer/songwriter building on the solid foundation of success that she put in place throughout last year which included a chart-topping arrival onto the ever-growing British pop-country scene and she is set to further enhance her reputation throughout 2022.
For ‘What Am I Missin’?’, Lisa T has teamed up with fellow British country music performer and seven-time winner at the British Country Music Awards, Gary Quinn with the pair joining forces to co-write the standout lyrical story that is laced throughout this upcoming offering from the rising star.
Speaking about the single, Lisa T says: “‘What Am I Missin’?’ is a song that I have been lucky enough to co-write with multi-award winning Country artist, Gary Quinn. We started out writing about the emotional turmoil that is involved with being in a relationship with someone who doesn’t listen. They disregard how you feel and what you say. The hook is hard-hitting: you tell them to leave, secretly hoping they won’t listen as usual – but this time they do. They go and don’t return leaving you wondering ‘why’? I love this song. I love what the amazing Tim Prottey-Jones has done with the production and I am really looking forward to performing it at this summer’s festivals – including Glastonbury and Blackdeer!”
