LIVE REVIEW: Shania Twain @ Wembley Stadium

Last night (Saturday, June 27th), Harry Styles’ Together Together world tour rolled into Wembley Stadium in London for night eight of his twelve-night residency at the venue with special guest Shania Twain. Shania is an icon and a true musical legend, and last night she showcased his stellar back catalogue and delivered a show-stopping set.

Having recently announced that her new album ‘Little Miss Twain’ will be released on July 24th, Twain was in a celebratory mood at the 90,000-seater stadium yesterday evening, basking in the UK sunshine and crowd adoration the Canadian superstar belted some of her biggest hits including ‘You’re Still The One’, ‘Don’t Be Stupid’, ‘Any Man Of Mine’, ‘Up’, and the iconic ‘Man! I Feel Like A Woman’ which had the audience bouncing with energy as they rose out of their seats to sing-along.

There is something truly special and timeless about seeing Shania Twain on that stage, and having been the reigning queen of country-pop since the 90s, it’s fantastic to see her having the time of her life singing and simply living in the moment as she continues to dominate the genre with her infectious and uplifting musical offerings.

New single ‘Dirty Rosie’ off the upcoming ‘Little Miss Twan’ also got an outing with the catchy release being well received by the London crowd. Last night, Twain delivered a setlist that was brimming with nostalgia and hints of the magic still to come from the legendary performer who is proving time and time again that she is most definitely still the one.

Shania Twain is an icon in every sense of the word, and her residency with Harry Styles at Wembley Stadium is allowing her to reconnect with fans who have grown up with her music, whilst also connecting with a new listenership, and it’s truly magic to witness.

Last night was absolutely phenomenal, and Twain was simply fantastic. She is a born entertainer, and her London showcase yesterday was nothing short of incredible. The queen still reigns, and that does impress us very much.
