Louise Parker Announces Debut Album ‘Living In Silver Linings’

Following on from a string of hit singles, fast-rising British country crossover talent Louise Parker is ready to make her mark on the ever-growing UK country music scene with the release of her long-awaited, and hotly anticipated debut studio album ‘Living In Silver Linings’.

The forthcoming body-of-work from the multi-talented storyteller will be releasing on Friday, April 16th and it is expected to be one of the most well-constructed tracklists from a singer/songwriter this calendar year as she she gets ready to show the indusry what she has to offer.

The upcoming record will feature a selection of brand new original songs from Louise Parker alongside several reimagined versions of some of her previous single releases making for an eclectic soundscape and a collection that will spearhead the Essex performer’s breakout year.

Speaking about the album, Louise says: “It’s been a long time dream of mine to release an LP, and this collection of songs have not let me down. I am proud to have written, played on, and co-produced every single song on this album, I have really given my blood, sweat, and tears to this project. I started recording my new songs like ‘Lie to Me’ and ‘Fake Friends’ in October 2019 at a studio in Austin, Texas not knowing what they would become or what I was going to do with them. Originally planned for release in Spring 2020 I decided to postpone after the world was hit by the tragic Covid-19 pandemic, although this was a heartbreaking decision it gave me more time in the studio and bought this epiphany of recreating my acoustic tracks from 2019. Recreating those tracks has been one of my proudest achievements to date. The album title was an off-hand comment I made to a friend last year, to which they responded ‘sounds like the title of an epic song’, it just fell into place naturally. ‘Living in Silver Linings’ is about making the best of a bad situation, staying positive when times are tough, and that’s something music has always done for me. This album has also taught me to be true to myself and my intuition, as the quote goes from the ‘Just Friends’ music video – ‘Don’t sacrifice yourself for anyone else. Experiment and have fun as time will come and go, but never lose you, always be true to yourself and you’ll never be lost”.

Already one of the most exciting talents rising up the British country music ranks, Louise Parker is set to truly embed herself within the fabric of the market with this forthcoming album that promises to become a massive fan favorite with a number of hit singles ready to be lifted off the project.
